“ Came here since great lakes was letting me down. The decaf iced latte here was incredible. Nothing quite like a hole in the wall place on a sunny day with blossom leaves swirling around the pavement. Beautiful. ”
“ What a lovely place! Coffee is great but especially appreciate the people working there who all care about what they make and the people who come in. Special shoutout to Vern! Thanks Vern!! Keep it up ya'll - Detroit loves you ”
“ Lovely place! Tiny, with pickup counter and no seating so plan on ordering and taking out. The coffee quality is superb and the barista was a pro. A experience for me. ”
“ Was a little surprised they didn’t have the new trends in coffees to offer- lavender lattes or orange tonic coffees- but they did the staples well. What they lacked in beverages choices, they made up for in ambience and service. The spot was very hip, and the big open windows gave it a European feel. ”
“ This place is great! Service is excellent! Coffee is strong and delicious! Milk they use is of a superb quality. Interior is lovely, there is a bar in the back that works in the evening. The seating area is outdoors. It’s a perfect place to chill outside, lots of trees and brick buildings around, atmosphere is cool and nice. Will recommend for sure ”
“ Very chill cozy coffee spot. Lots of construction right now, but new roads are a good thing! I had a dirty chai of course, so warming. Loved the outdoor reading spots. ”
“ Milwaukee Caffe makes me feel like I'm visiting a European, standing-only, grab-and-go coffee shop if traditional espresso-loving European coffee shops were hip and queer in the absolute best way. I come here to romanticize my life and walk away caffeinated enough to do some damage. ”
“ I love walking to this coffee shop on my morning walks :) I usually get a cold brew with almond milk - 5.50. Pretty reasonable and they have nice outdoor seating. I wish they had some pastries, but the employees are always really chill and it’s easy to pop in and out! They have iced water outside on hot days and cute tables where you can sit. It’s nice to see folks out there chatting and enjoying the coffee and weather. Overall, I still rank the coffee itself below Cafe Sous Terre and the Roost - it’s a little more bitter - but it has a special place for me since it’s in my neighborhood. It’s a solid spot. I’ll definitely be coming back while I live here! ”
